This release from slowly but surely rising German DJ/producer Sandilé is taken from her latest single release, named after its A-side banger ‘Bulla Bulla’. Combining light, funky hi-hats with a pulsating, thick bass drum, Sandilé creates a solid rhythm section for the repeating note melodies and luscious, jazzy harmonies to sit on. Her move up from Excursions to Phuture Shock mirrors the raising profile she is gaining within the European club scene, as well her collaboration with Black Loops last year. The unmistakable focus on groove combined with the technological forwardness of this track allows Sandilé’s unique sound to take centre stage. -Dan Peeke
